Annabella a girl from a very noble and well known family was her classmate with their seats side by side. She was a direct opposite of Christy in character, Very friendly, extroverted and forward young girl. She was older than Christy anyway. Christy didn't like her because Bella, as she was fondly called wanted to know everything about her. She liked Christy a lot for her intelligence and discipline and it was rare to see students who possess these qualities combined with beauty. But she was too reserved and always to her self, never minding anybody. Christy held on to the story handed down to her by her father. And for fear of bringing shame and heartbreak to her parents she decided to follow line by line all she is instructed to do or not to do. She was indeed an obedient child. Another chapter of her life opened when she gained admission into the best secondary school in her state. Her father had swore to sponsor his children to whatever academic height they desire. She was so excited as she was to start her senior secondary school life in a new environment and it was a boarding school. Christy, a very beautiful, bright, brilliant, well Cultured, hardworking but very timid young girl who grew up looking up to her parents for everything and anything. Her immediate family literally was her whole world. As obedient as she was, she wouldn't do anything without the consent or approval of her mother who loved her so much for her persistence in doing the right thing always. But she wasn't allowed to mingle with her peers for fear of being badly influenced not knowing the advantages there is in allowing Christy have a few friends though under parental guidance. This promising young Lady lived her life with the strong mindset of being independent of anyone apart from her parents which was a partial truth told her. She didn't make friends whether male or female because she just assumed that they could get her into some sort of trouble.
