I see election as an institution that admits people into leadership positions anywhere in the world. This institution has certain requirements before admission is given but for the purpose and aim of this article,let's focus on the effects of not voting right to families in any country. When we trace the history of some countries that are underdeveloped today, we would realise that, the causes are a result of wrong choices of leadership. Val's Day as its popularly known, is believed to be lovers day. It's remarkable for the display of red, the colour of love. Gift exchange usually follows this widely recognized day even in some corporate offices. But my issue with Val's day is not far fetched. What Nigerians don't know about elections This article is focused on enlightening my dear Nigerians who are eligible voters that come 16th February, our fate as a nation lies in our decision to vote in who will represent us well as a country and lead us to the very place we desire. Several years ago, my family went through a hard time. Every family go through it in one way or the other. Ours was so bad because as children we had never really lacked anything or suffer for lack of food and maximum comfort in the home. My parents made sure our needs were well cover. It was so hard that we couldn't eat nice meals whenever we wanted and this we had to cope with. At the time, we had just moved to our own home and my parents had cleared their accounts to make our home a little bit habitable for us.
